Lawsuits begin over the unfinished hotel owned by Hong Kong’s Hopewell Holdings; works stay incomplete for almost a decade.
2003
Hopewell sells the hotel to its former director Stewart Elliott for about US$4.25 million; the Elliott family becomes sole owner.
