• 1913 September:
Liz Taylor stays at the Hotel Royal at the occasion of the American Film Festival Marta Barriere,
wife of Lucien Barriere decorates the future Liz Taylor repainting it in the color of Liz Taylors eyes. When leaving Liz Taylor drops a note :
“Dear Marta, thank you so much for your hospitality. I’ve had a great time, and the L.T. [Liz Taylor] suite is the one of the most beautiful I have ever seen — you did a fabulous job. I am very honoured to have it named after me.”
